A busy agenda for the new FIA Formula E champion. Interviews, press conferences, business meetings and, of course, spending some time with this family.
Lucas di Grassi arrived in São Paulo 5:30 am last Wednesday and only had the time to go home for a quick breakfast before heading to Audi Brazil headquarters in his native city to a press conference where the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler driver attended around 50 journalists from all media to speak about his winning campaing in the 2016-2017 season of the FIA Formula E Championship.
The conferece was shown live on the official Formula E page on Facebook and got more then 6 thousand views – same number as in Lucas’ Instagram account. Lucas was greeted by Audi do Brasil CEO and presidente Johannes Roschek.
On Thursday, the appointment was at Facebook’s office in São Paulo, where he went live once again, this time in his page, to interact and answer the fans questions in Portuguese – once again, with thousands of views. After spending some quality time with his family and business meetings on Friday, di Grassi took another flight on Saturday afternoon, where he attended the launch of the new Audi A5 in Rio de Janeiro hottest spots – at the Barra da Tijuca.
“It is trully a busy schedule, but a very rewarding one”, says Lucas. “I cannot describe how greatfull I am and the satisfaction of returning to my home country as a world champion. Unfortunatelly, it has been five short, however, very intense days in my agenda”, stated the champion, who returns to Europe on Sunday.
